On May 24 2009, Democrats Abroad Canada will hold their annual general meeting where a new board of directors for Democrats Abroad Canada will be selected. Democrats Abroad is an international organization that organizes all US citizens abroad to vote and be aware of the US political scene, even when they live abroad.
The organization describes itself as ".. the official Democratic Party organization for the millions of Americans living outside the United States. We work to advance the principles of our Party by spreading the Democratic message to Americans abroad and encouraging them to vote for Democratic candidates back home."
